Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a treatment that uses the patient's own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth and rejuvenate the skin. The process involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient and separating it in a centrifuge to obtain concentrated platelet rich plasma (PRP). This PRP is then injected into the targeted area to promote tissue growth and collagen production for natural skin rejuvenation. PRP is also used in treating sports injuries and conditions affecting tendons, joints, and disks.
Benefits of PRP Face Treatment:
- Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scarring
- Tightens and tones the skin
- Addresses collagen and volume loss
- Diminishes crow's feet and dark under-eye circles
- Improves skin tone, texture, and overall complexion
- Helps with early signs of aging
- Strengthens existing hair and promotes hair growth
Post-treatment, mild to moderate swelling, redness, or heat in the treated area may occur, along with possible bruising. Results may vary, and most patients require three treatments at four-week intervals. The initial improvements in skin turgor and elasticity are noticeable, while collagen production takes time. Factors like smoking, stress, and illness can affect results. PRP rejuvenation is generally safe but not recommended for certain medical conditions.
Note: Consultation is necessary to determine suitability for treatment and timing.
